I have a 5 MB line on the West Coast and using DLM, only 176-220 KB/s. range

Make sure you have your machine tuned for high bandwidth downloads cpham. Google HPN and BDP for details on how to do that. Often makes the world of difference

i have a 3mb download with a normal speed of 390 kb/s downloading at 230 kb/s on the south coast LA

My @#$% download finished 4 min b4, when i was at 1,14 gigs. WTF

Our downloads support resume which enable you to resume a download where you got to. You just need to use a client which supports resume vnct, hope this helps.

I think it makes a big difference if you become a member... idid not have to wait at all and it is downloading faster..

900gb is not much bandwidth there lmark, each of the servers our end pushed out 74TB this evening.

Any idea why people are getting kicked seconds after joining a server?

I installed the patch, I have the version 1.5.3122-802.0 but most of the servers are red.
I can't connect ! Please help me !

i have a problem, installed the patch and now the game wont start at all ????

I also had the problem where the game won't launch. You need to install the 1.41 patch (the excrutiatingly slow one) first, then install the 1.50 beta after that.
I too found I was being kicked from servers, so needed to download the releavant pb files from here: http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=dl-bf2.php
Everything seems to be working now.
P.S. I installed the original BF2 from scratch on an XP system.
This worked for me I hope it helps anyone else having problems.

Just like every patch, they fix one thing and break 3 others...

Who cares about a falcon and why does it need its own section that breaks the rest of the game???

well, all I can say is...HOW IN THE HECK ARE WE TO NOTICE ANYTHING POSITIVE IF ALL THE SERVERS TO PLAY ON ARE IN THE U.K.???? I am in Hawaii, & I ping 200+ on all of them. Would love to play Blue Pearl....if the server wouldn't kick me for high average ping.....please hook up some U.S. servers.
